On a fateful morning, while walking to my volunteering duty station, my eyes were fastened on the penultimate milestone to the destination as my legs were carrying my body to approach it. Suddenly, I was distracted by the sight of a coloured spiral line of liquid stretching across both sides of a bridge. Then I … Continue reading As the Colourless Turns Purple

Peace in Every Place
Waking up every morning to the news of killings, scandals and armoury showiness, that stuff everywhere human occupies on this planet, and their premeditated consequences of pain, sorrow and perplexity make one think and ask “is this how we ought to live?” But then, I quickly found the answer.
God, the maker of all, never intends that man should live in a restive situation during the short time he will spend on earth. His intention was a world like that of Eden, a place of no pain nor sorrow. This insight was derived from the description of the new earth (Zion) to come. “For the Lord will comfort Zion, He will comfort all her waste places; He will make her wilderness like Eden, and her desert like the garden of the Lord; Joy and gladness will be found in it, thanksgiving and the voice of melody” (Isa. 51:11).

As we … Continue reading A Trip to the Forest – I
